Solve This disk is write protected using CMD

Hello Friends ,

Back with a new trick

Sometimes when you want to format your Pen-drive it comes up with an error and Windows will tell you it is Write Protected.

So, today Im going to share a very simple method to Format the Pen-drive by using cmd.

JUST FOLLOW THESE STEPS -

1. Insert your Pen-drive in USB Port

2.  Now Note down the Letter associated with your removal disk ( Pen-drive )


eg - F: as shown above

3. Now Click on START 

4. Type cmd in search Box and Hit ENTER ( Win 7 & 8 )

 For Win XP -
Start > Run > Type cmd > Hit enter

5. A box will open when you hit ENTER



6. Now type Format F: ( with Colon - Two dots ) and Press ENTER

[ If you want to Format it as FAT32  then type - 
Format F: /FS: FAT32 ]

7. Just wait for 10 min and Its Done.

[ Note - Please write the Letter Associated with your Pen-drive instead of F:]
