South East Tour Day 0 Getting Ready
South East Tour Day 0 Getting Ready Starting tomorrow (technically today since it is past midnight) we will be heading off for a two week adventure across the South-East in our 1980 Volkswagen. We will be heading West to New Orleans, which Ive been really wanting to visit for quite some time. We will then head North to Nashville, going back East through Nashville to Asheville, NC, then back down South and probably home. We still have not yet planned our trip past Asheville, but it will probably involve a stop in Augusta, GA and a final stop at the Okefenokee Swamp State Park. I have been able to use this trip as a way to motivate us to get some things done on the van that Ive been meaning to take care of for quite some time. I had my mechanic do some major engine work. Kim and I also made curtains for the windows. In fact, we just got done after midnight finishing the curtains.
