South East Tour Day 1 Big Lagoon State Park

South East Tour Day 1 Big Lagoon State Park Today we drove form our home in Tallahassee to Big Lagoon State Park. Kim and I woke up around 7:30 this morning and we started doing the final stretch of loading up the Volkswagen, and cleaning up the house.  I made a breakfast of eggs, hash browns and toast.  The girls are usually up between 7:30 and 8:30, but when they where still not up around 9:00 we went ahead and woke them.  After feeding everyone and getting them ready for the day, we headed out.  We had to drop off Mollie with a pet sitter Kim found on Craigs List, and then we left town. I drove the first leg of the trip all the way to Fort Walton Beach, taking Highway 20 almost the whole way. We dropped by a Subway for lunch, but ate in the car. We arrived at the campsite around 4:30, making our trip around five hours, including the stopping for food and gas.  The kids where mostly well behaved on the trip, with the usual "Im tired", "Im hungry", and "How fa...

South Park Stick of Truth

South Park Stick of Truth ts get super cereal, shall we? South Park: The Stick of Truth is the closest there is to an interactive South Park film. It nails the animated television shows look, its humor, and its obsession with the human anus. If you come to The Stick of Truth for the South Park-ness of it all--for Cartmans aggressive profanity, for Butters good intentions, for Randy Marshs masturbation addiction--then youll enjoy 10 or so hours of hysterical, offensive, gross buffoonery. Does the phrase "anal beads" make you giggle? Have you daydreamed of tossing poop at the people you hate? Then you know where you can shove The Stick of Truth: right into your consoles disc drive. That limited play time is a consideration, however. Of course, even if you love South Park, 10 or 11 hours of listening to Cartman call you a douchebag could prove tiring. Nevertheless, given developer Obsidian Entertainments pedigree, you would rightfully expect a certain amount of systemic depth, o...

South Park The Stick of Truth official gameplay

South Park The Stick of Truth official gameplay One of the most anticipated games for me this year, South Park: The Stick of Truth, which will be released on March 4, finally has a gameplay preview, and its awesome. We can clearly see what the game will be like, apparently an RPG, and some information about the storyline; you need to retrieve the Stick of Truth from the elves. The game looks great and feels great, combine that with the animations and dialogues from South Park (the series) and you get gold, GOLD. You can pre-order this game on steam and get amazing unique content, so go do it now. Heres the gameplay, BTW. download file now

South Park The Stick of Truth Its the show in playable format!

South Park The Stick of Truth Its the show in playable format! My Mom is a pretty interesting person. Masters graduate, devout catholic, supportive of her children, and generous to friends and family to a fault. Shes pretty awesome but she and I stand on opposite sides on a lot of things. I listen to metal, she likes show tunes. I like RPGS, she prefers casual games. I love tex-mex, and she doesnt (and is wrong). But one thing that one thing that we share without question is our complete love of the show  South Park . Now, South Park  has never really had a good game iteration in its history, so I was pretty excited to hear that Matt Stone and Trey Parker were going to be directly involved. But as is the curse of video game development, there were delays, glitchy problems, and generally iffy reviews. But a lot of media sources that I tend to frequent were telling me that if I am a fan of the show, I will be a fan of the game. With concerns of game length, I held off on buying ...

South East Tour Day 2 Bayou Segnette State Park

South East Tour Day 2 Bayou Segnette State Park This morning Kim was the first one up, followed by Athena and Aurora.  I got up last and began getting things packed up.  Arianna woke up very last.  She slept in the bottom bed with me.  Aurora and Kim slept up top.  Athena slept with Angel and Ashton. Ashley made a breakfast of sausage patties and eggs.  There was also a bunch of watermelon my grandfather bought.  We were worried that there wasnt going to be enough food, but after cooking everything there was just enough to fill everyones bellies. Kim and I slowly got everything ready and eventually got things on the road.  After leaving the camp grounds we stopped by a Tom Thumb gas station for some ice and gas.  We then went across the street to Wal-Mart to get some other needed supplies, including letting the kids spend a little bit of the money we got for them to buy a toy to entertain them on the road.  Arianna got a mini version of ...
