Steam Machines Valve Announces New Living Room Hardware That Runs SteamOS Valve has announced a new category of living-room hardware today, that will be running Steam OS and will be available in multiple configurations. Only 300 of these boxes will ship this year though, for testing purposes. While in testing, the new "Steam machines" will be free of charge for 300 lucky Steam users that are eligible to get one. For this, you must complete a quest before October 25: join the Steam Universe community group, agree to the Steam Hardware Beta Terms and Conditions, make 10 Steam friends, create a public Steam Community profile and play a game using a gamepad in Big Picture mode. Once you complete these steps, youll be awarded a special badge and be among the pool of people that can be chosen to test the new hardware. Square Enix Announces F2P Final Fantasy World Wide Words for iOS and Android  Final Fantasy World Wide Words (Final Fantasy WWW for short) is a new F2P title for Android and iOS platforms. The game will launch first on Android on Sept 16th, and on iOS at a later date. The game is a "Typing Battle RPG". Which means, you type to battle with monsters. Sort like SEGAs Typing of the Dead. Players can do word combos, level up, have access to various abilities. and more. Classic Final Fantasy characters will also make an appearance. Square Enix Announces Dive In New Streaming Service Square Enix announced today, a new streaming service called Dive In for iOS and Android platforms. Dive In launches on October 9th in Japan, and will allow players to stream games like Final Fantasy XIII , Final Fantasy VII and more to their compatible smartphones. Each game comes with a free 30 minute demo period. More games like Final Fantasy VIII, The Last Remnant, Final Fantasy XIII-2 will launch in November.  To use the new streaming Dive In service, you will need to download the Dive In app, have an Square Enix account and at least 3mbps connection.
