SOLVED Plank doesnt change theme Switching Planks theme its easy: replace dock.theme and hover.theme in ~/.config/plank/theme . Plank should reflect instantly the changes. However theres a problem: Plank ignores some themes and uses the default one. Well, this happens because the newer version of Plank uses a different notation. Plank using the Gingerbread theme Fix Open dock.theme and hover.theme on a text editor and paste the contents of the files from the new theme into the existing ones. Now find the words PlankDrawingThemeRenderer and PlankDrawingDockThemeRenderer and remove the sub-string Renderer . Dont forget to save. And thats it! Plank should now apply the new theme. Sony Xperia Tipo doesnt have compass sensor Sony xperia tipo (and tipo dual) does not have a compass sensor or digital compass, so any compass apps will not work on tipo. And theres no solution to this, if compass really extremely important for you, you will have to buy other phone. For me a compass is not really necessary, its good to have but if not is okay for me.  Some people confuse because they thought they had compass when they bought xperia tipo, because people see on GSM arena (www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_tipo-4718.php) that xperia tipo has built-in compass sensor. The fact that not everything on GSM arena is 100% correct. download file now
