Software Incompatibilities in Diablo 3

Due to the complex nature of software design, incompatibilities will periodically occur between different programs. Below, you will find a list of current incompatibilities with Diablo III and how to resolve them.

AMD Catalyst Driver 12.4
Some AMD video card users will experience graphical "artifacting" when playing Diablo III with the AMD Catalyst 12.4 driver suite installed. If you are using 12.4, please update to the recently released 12.4a hotfix as detailed on AMDs website.

Overlay Programs
Some of the below overlay programs can cause Diablo III to crash if they are not fully updated, while others on the list may crash Diablo III even if updated. If updating the overlay program does not prevent crashing, you will need to shut it down or uninstall it before playing Diablo III.

Mac OS X 10.6 and Intel HD 3000
Using Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6) on a Mac that has the Intel HD 3000 graphics chipset may cause textures to become stretched. Intel HD 3000 users will need to upgrade to Mac OS X Lion (10.7) to get this resolved.
